The LPUNEST exam, administered by the institution, serves as the basis for LPU admission. LPU University administers the LPUNEST, or Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Examination, an online proctored exam. For admission to the LPU undergraduate and postgraduate programs consisting of MBA, B.Tech, BBA, etc., an entrance exam and a scholarship examination are both administered online. Students who received passing scores on the national entrance exams are excluded from taking the LPUNEST.

One of the largest private campuses in India, LPU University has a campus that spans 600 acres.
