In 2011, the Devi Shakuntala Thakral Charitable Foundation formed Oriental University, Indore (OUI). Since 1995, The Oriental Group has been one of the most well-known names in the education sector. It has been in effect since May 2011, Oriental University, Indore is the only first private university in Indore, has obtained university status under section 2f of the UGC, 1956 Act. Its vision is to create an intellectually excellent atmosphere that is particularly Indian, pushing academically accelerated individuals and advancing academically challenged individuals. Applicants who are interested in the M.Tech. and M.Pharm.programmes must take the GATE and GPAT exams, respectively. Applicants who are interested in the B.Tech programme must obtain a qualifying JEE score.
